Live Artfully
So excited to announce that I’ll be showing new work for First Fridays in June!
“if this is the end…” will open Friday, June 6th at Plenum Space in the Crossroads Arts District of downtown KC.
Yes, it is finally time to come out of hibernation. This work has been years in the making and I am so ready to share it with you. Stay tuned for more details and sneak peaks!

Micki Hadley’s music video for Cowboy Indian Bear’s “Let It Down” was shown on the silver screen last night for the first time ever! Couldn’t be more proud of my baby. If you missed it, you also missed out on a great opportunity to see my tiny, overlooked nip slips become GIGANTIC, obvious boob shots…sucks for you! No shame.
It was shown right before one of the last showings EVER (in 35 mm!) of one of our all time favorite movies- Empire Records. KC’s own Antennas Up put the cherry on top with a live performance of our favorite songs from the soundtrack, including Rex Manning’s own “Say No More” (mon amore!). So. Good. Mills Records also contributed with a super rad pop up shop. Huge thanks to Middle of the Map for putting this all together and the Alamo Drafthouse for hosting the event. As always, thanks to YOU who came out to support local art- you keep KC alive and thriving!
DAMN THE MAN! SAVE THE EMPIRE!
