What began as a sensory experiment transformed into a unique visual story of love, loss and interconnectedness . “Let’s Be Friends!” began as an exercise. I wanted to explore moving meditation through repetition and heightened sensory awareness. I would listen to the same mix of 15 songs on repeat, moving my hand and eye along with the rhythm. This exploration of pattern, color and hand/eye coordination became ritual. Over time, a definite story began to take shape. The result is a pattern driven series of images that capture a mood and tell a sad, compelling story.
