Ruffians

Check out this new collaboration!  Cowboy Indian Bear and Micki Hadley are killing it once again.  So grateful to be a part of this project (I’m the creepy imaginary friend).  Keep your eyes and ears open for many more nightmarish music videos to come over the course of this year 🙂

DAMN THE MAN, SAVE THE EMPIRE

the silver screen

Micki Hadley’s music video for Cowboy Indian Bear’s “Let It Down” was shown on the silver screen last night for the first time ever!  Couldn’t be more proud of my baby.  If you missed it, you also missed out on a great opportunity to see my tiny, overlooked nip slips become GIGANTIC, obvious boob shots…sucks for you!  No shame.

It was shown right before one of the last showings EVER (in 35 mm!) of one of our all time favorite movies- Empire Records.  KC’s own Antennas Up put the cherry on top with a live performance  of our favorite songs from the soundtrack, including Rex Manning’s own “Say No More” (mon amore!).  So. Good.  Mills Records also contributed with a super rad pop up shop.  Huge thanks to Middle of the Map for putting this all together and the Alamo Drafthouse for hosting the event.  As always, thanks to YOU who came out to support local art- you keep KC alive and thriving!
