Costa Rica Soul Revival with Adzenture Retreats was everything.
I am forever grateful to this unique mix of souls who gathered from all over to co-create this experience of a lifetime. We are forever bonded by this adventure.
There were so many epic moments! We faced fears and crossed some big things off our bucket lists…
We went gliding through the rainforest canopy.
We learned about the indigenous Bribri tribe and made our own chocolate from scratch.
We went chasing waterfalls.
And we explored the surrounding towns with our new best adventure buds.
All this excitement was balanced by a soul nourishing stay at our beautiful retreat center, The Goddess Garden.
We feasted on delicious, locally sourced food.
We practiced self-care with daily yoga and meditation in the stunning Yoga Shala.
We woke with the sun.
And we closed with gratitude.
If you missed out on the Soul Revival, send me a quick email via the Contact tab to be added to the VIP list for my next retreat.
You will be one of the first to know where we are going next and be eligible for sweet early bird discounts.
So much gratitude to you, free spirits!

How cool is it that we have a holiday completely centered around LOVE?!
Often, we get swept up in the perception of Valantine’s Day as a holiday of romantic love. I’m thinking it’s time we flip the script.
Yoga teaches us to love ourselves fiercely. Before we can show compassion out in the world, we must show love to number one. Join me at Westport Yoga for a heart opening vinyasa practice followed by ample pampering (think essential oil self massage and CHOCOLATE). Bring a friend, partner or fly solo. Pre-registration is required, you can sign up riiiiight HERE 🙂
Arts and crafts are good fun and all…but what in the hell does messing with willow sticks and tying knots have to do with YOGA?
Everything, my friend.
Everything about the dream catcher is symbolic. The hoop itself (a “mandala”, in Indian culture) is a sacred circle that stands for unity and oneness. Sound familiar? Yoga literally means “to yoke”. We use our yoga practice to unite our minds with our bodies. We use the repetitive act of weaving our dream catchers to join the mind and body. You can experience flow through yoga asana or through crafting netted sculpture. Both are “art making”. Both are ways to explore moving meditation. Join our community circle o’ creativity this Saturday at Hagoyah (1-3pm) to experience moving meditation/flow!
Ps- I love this blog post detailing the history behind dream catcher making in Native American culture. Happy reading!
You have one more chance to get creative with me this year. Learn the sacred art of dreamcatcher making and the art of moving meditation. I will teach you the SIMPLE weaving technique and provide all materials. Just show up with an open mind, ready to create! All levels yoga class included, NO art making or yoga experience required.
