That’s right, friends!!! This one’s for all of you bike lovers and athletes out there! The sequence I’ll be teaching tomorrow is actually part of a larger workshop I’ve been creating especially for cyclists, and I love you all so much I thought I’d bring it to Velo+ to give you a little taste! I you’re not a cyclist or athlete- no worries, this flow is great for anybody! All are welcome.
We will cover a lot of bases with one simple flow. It’s quite common for cyclists to have overdeveloped thighs and tight hamstrings. Yoga, notorious for keeping your muscles long and lean, is the best way I’ve found to address this issue. I’ll teach you some amazing, simple stretches that you can put to practice after an intense ride. You’ll benefit not only by gaining flexibility. You’ll also work your core, realign your spine and find your center of gravity with some balancing poses. We’ll also learn techniques to focus the mind to get you through that difficult climb. Physical AND mental leaps happening on your yoga mat- tomorrow at 10 am!
